The Day School Leadership Training Institute (DSLTI), a professional development program, trains and supports a cadre of heads of school who exemplify Jewish values and are committed to developing them in this and future generations across North America. A 15-month program, DSLTI consists of summer sessions and three-day retreats facilitated by a team of skilled mentors currently heading Jewish day schools as well as ongoing mentoring and support. As a vibrant learning community, DSLTI imbues participants with content knowledge, practical skills, and a new lens through which to analyze and reflect on leadership issues.
DSLTI is a program of the Davidson School of Jewish Education at the Jewish Theological Seminary (JTS). To date, nine DSLTI cohorts, including the one currently running, have included a total of 116 fellows.
