Generations transforms the way day schools fund their budgets by soliciting endowment and legacy gifts. This program for select communities and their schools has three components: training for school lay leaders and development professionals, follow-up coaching, and small incentive grants for fundraising success. Over the past five years, in different cohorts, 29 day schools have completed the program and another 15 are entering their final year. Collectively, the 44 schools have raised $80 million, an average of $5,300 per student. Generations is a program of Prizmah: Center for Jewish Day Schools.
