In 2015-16, teams from five Miami day schools met monthly to learn about blended/personalized learning and plan for implementation in their schools. The program was jointly planned and implemented by the Miami BJE and the DigitalJLearning Network (DJLN) and funded half by the community and half by AVI CHAI. The model included site visits to day schools in NY/NJ to see blended learning modalities in action, and ended with four of the schools submitting implementation proposals that have been jointly funded by AVI CHAI and local donors for two school years (2016-17 and 2017-18). The schools continue to be coached by DJLN and the staff of the Miami BJE. This year, all four schools have joined BetterLesson as a way of training additional teachers. They will also be participating in training with the Buck Institute for Education, the premier organization for project-based learning.

We are about to launch JBlend Boston in partnership with the Combined Jewish Philanthropies (CJP).
