Write On for Israel empowers high school students in their junior and senior years to advocate for Israel through writing, broadcasting and public speaking. Following seven Sunday seminars taught by top educators and journalists, an intensive ten-day Israel mission enables the teens to examine issues involved in Israel advocacy at the source. These program components also include exposure to Israeli officials, IDF officers, PR executives and other inspiring professionals. Then, participants choose a track for hands-on field work during their senior year. The Write On for Israel program was initiated by Gary Rosenblatt, publisher of the New York Jewish Week, and is currently located in Chicago, Cleveland, New York and San Francisco.
