We, at AVI CHAI, recognize that the long-term impact of our work depends on our enlisting Jewish educators, thought leaders and philanthropists to collaborate with us in the short term, and champion our mission – in its broadest sense – after we shut our doors.
One legacy we hope to leave the field is in the areas of knowledge, ideas and policy thinking that will facilitate action by others. This notion encompasses both formal research/policy reports as well as more general knowledge management and dissemination. AVI CHAI’s role is one of “knowledge manager” – organizing and synthesizing data within our core fields in ways that generate reflection, discussion and decision-making among practitioners and philanthropists.
