Since 2003, AVI CHAI has supported workshops on the teaching of Israeli history, politics and culture organized by Professor Kenneth Stein, the director of Emory University’s Institute for the Study of Modern Israel. The program now has 364 alumni, most of whom teach grades 5-12 in day schools and congregational schools.
