One of our goals in recent years has been the strengthening of institutions that embody AVI CHAI’s mission and vision – our current partners and future successors in the field. With this in mind, AVI CHAI is investing in the institutional infrastructure of RAVSAK: The Jewish Community Day School Network.
Cross-denominational Community day schools are a relatively recent phenomenon in the field, and as the number of schools has grown, RAVSAK serves as an important guide to the field. Passionate about building meaningful Jewish literacy, religious purposefulness and connection to Israel in these schools, RAVSAK’s executive director, Dr. Marc Kramer, has demonstrated his and RAVSAK’s capacity to bring Community day schools and their leaders on Jewish journeys. Our investment of time and financial resources is intended to help Dr. Kramer build the organizational infrastructure needed to extend and scale his effective efforts.
