AVI CHAI concluded its general grant making on December 31, 2019.
Capacity Building
A key element of AVI CHAI’s spend-down strategy is to invest in the strength and sustainability of institutions the Foundation believes can play a vital role in continuing to meet the evolving needs of Jewish day schools. In addition, we are investing in the capacity-building of key grantees that have offered robust, successful programs to day schools and overnight camps in the past. These institutions, which further Jewish literacy, religious purposefulness, and peoplehood at day schools and camps, are our current partners and future successors in the field.
