Day School Leadership

One of the most powerful levers for school change is professional leadership in day schools. AVI CHAI has therefore invested programmatically in supporting day school leaders’ professional growth to become more effective administrators and to lead their schools Jewishly.

AVI CHAI’s leadership efforts aim to strengthen the Jewish content and character of Jewish day schools through developing leaders with the knowledge and passion to infuse their schools with Jewish literacy, religious purposefulness, and peoplehood (LRP). Our goal is to ensure that, by 2020, at least 300 Jewish day schools are led by effective LRP leaders who are connected to one another and committed to their ongoing leadership growth and growth of the field.
