Generations, a program of Prizmah: Center for Jewish Day Schools, transforms the way day schools fund their budgets by soliciting endowment and legacy gifts. This program for select communities and their schools has three components: training for school lay leaders and development professionals, follow-up coaching, and small incentive grants for fundraising success. Since 2011, 45 day schools have completed the program, and two more schools began in October 2018. Collectively, the 45 schools have raised $113 million, an average of $7,525 per student.
