Reshet Ramah: Strenghening the Ramah Alumni Networks

Reshet Ramah is building a national alumni outreach program for the Ramah movement’s camper and staff alumni, estimated to number 250,000 since Ramah’s founding in 1947. Regardless of which of the 12 Ramah day and overnight camps they attended,  Reshet Ramah aims to build connections among Ramah alumni by offering local activities and programs inspired by the Ramah camp experience that will be appealing to them today.  These are expected to include Shabbatonim, camp retreats and learning experiences conducted both locally and online, adapted to the ages and interests of the alumni in each community. Some programming will link to local Jewish institutions so that these Ramah-based experiences might become part of the area’s JCC and synagogue repertoire and even attract those without a Ramah background. The project is co-funded by the Maimonides Fund.
